Abstract :
Static electrification due to oil flow is the main reason for several electrical breakdown in large transformers. In the present paper this phenomenon has been investigated by the aid of open cycle system. Finally from tests results obtained by authors, the effects of applied electric field, temperature and oil flow velocity on static electrification have been investigated.
